Our Board

Mukana Wedu Foundation has a board of trustees which has oversight
over all the affairs, activities and programmes of the foundation. Although
the day to day administration of the foundation is the responsibility of the
executive director. One of the foundation’s internal key strategies is to
have a very lean staff complement so that resultantly, the beneficiaries
benefit the most from the availed funds from our partners.

The board of trustees have been drawn from various and diverse fields of
expertise ranging from law and policy, law, human resources, finance,
social work and media and ICT. Each board member has been assigned a
functional area to serve as the resource person or point person with
regards to that subject matter or functional area, although it should be
emphasized that every board member is equally free to contribute to any
matter being considered by the board. The basis of assigning such subject
areas to each board member is the board member’s experience,
knowledge and expertise in the said functional area.
